The Iscar VCMT 160402-F3M IC1017 turning insert is a positive-geometry indexable insert designed for precision turning operations. This VCMT-F3M series insert features a 35° rhombic shape with a positive rake and F3M chip breaker, providing excellent surface finish and stable cutting performance in stainless steel and similar materials.

The IC1017 grade combines a carbide base with a specialized coating, delivering enhanced wear resistance and long tool life during finishing and semi-finishing turning operations. Its positive geometry reduces cutting forces, improving process stability and surface quality in CNC and conventional turning.
